Celebrating Emirati culture, its history and traditions. An eleven day festival held in the grounds next to Qasr Al Hosn, that attracted well over 100,000 visitors. An exciting, immersive and active environment that encourages interaction and learning. The festival celebrated Qasr Al Hosn as Abu Dhabi’s oldest building and brought to life the Cultural Foundation Building through a series of public programmes, activities & installations located at key points throughout the building. Each activity helped to emphasise the building’s significance as a centre of art and a landmark place to preserve modern heritage and history. Visitors could participate in local crafts, shop in souks and see spontaneous traditional performances. A cohesive design language existed between interior design, online messaging, festival environmental graphics and all printed collateral. Dual language educational discovery packs and numerous content rich printed collateral supported the festival.
