MANGA LAB, LOUVRE ABU DHABI

The Louvre Abu Dhabi’s first ever dedicated space for teenagers and young adults. The temporary space was designed to accompany the ‘Japanese Connections: The Birth of Modern Décor’ exhibition – an engaging, fun environment dedicated to Japanese Manga art. Other areas included an expression graffiti wall and Manga themed creative workshops that included ‘Make your own Manga T-Shirt’ and ‘How to write a Manga’. A chill out zone for reading and relaxing as well as a VR Experience where visitors could walk through a selection of well known Japanese paintings from the main exhibition.
